Made it! Now I'm going to bed before I collapse. I'm making typing mistakes like I'm still using a Danish keyboard, things feel slightly foreign, but I guess I have been gone for a while. I didn't even recognize my mobile phone charger. Weird. 'night!

The real advantage to wearing the same pair of jeans for 3 weeks or the same sweater for a month is that they eventually start carrying their own weight, and it's that much eaiser to get around.

Ok, I finally have some pictures up online. Stop pestering me! Actually, I don't mind so much, I like getting emails. Here's the link. They aren't scaled or anything, I'll do something nicer next week when I'm State side.

Ok, I'm in the Stockholm public library, quite a building. Took the ferry over from Helsinki last night, went pretty well. The hostel I'm staying in tonight is also a ship, moored in the middle of Stockholm. I'm going to Odense Denmark tomorrow, so most of what I'm seeing here is the outsides of buildings as I walk around. My funding is drying up and I'm going to have to pinch to make it last another week. I can't update my map yet, but I should be able to tomorrow.

Ok, just got back from Dogma Design again, really cool shop. Loads of vintage plastic, piles of 60s textiles, and gobs of great egg cups. Not to mention the teak! I wish I had the means to purchase and transport most of the store back to America to add to my collection! I thought about going to Finland today, but it's getting too late, I'll continue loitering in Luleå. Not a bad place to do it, definitely one of the more pleasant places I've ever been. My day trip was to Gammelstad, worth seeing if you're into medieval churches as much as I am.
I'm in Luleå (nearly on the border with Finland right on the sea). I can't update my progress map on this computer, so I'll do it the next time I'm online. Just stopped in a great design shop, Dogma Design, I'll head back there when I get a chance, hope they have a business card.

Greetings from above the Artic Circle!
Dateline - Bodø
It's currently cold and rainy here in northern Norway. Tomorrow I press farther north, by bus, to Narvik. As you can see, I've made some progress towards my eventual encircling of Scandinavia. I'm going to jump on IM for just a minute, but it's pretty late here right now, and I've got a 7:10 bus to catch tomorrow. More on this story later in the program!

The new title for this blog is: Updates From Europe
I'm in Trondheim Norway right now, already passed through Copenhagen, Gothenburg and Oslo.
My progress so far:
...And now for... THE WORST EUROPEAN TRAIN STATIONS OF ALL TIME!!!!
1. Frankfurt Germany
2. Oslo, Norway
3. Utrecht, Netherlands
4. Milan, Italy
5. Amsterdam, Netherlands
While in Olso, waiting for a tram, I could tell that the Junkies were starting to mobilize. Luckily the tram came and I escaped. The next day, what do I see on the news? The exact same tram station rocked by junkie riots and muggings! Earning Oslo the #2 spot. But Frankfurt takes the cake (and finds a way to put the cake in a syringe). Frankfurt is the only place I've been where you have to be careful to not step on the junkies. They're worse than cicadas!
